Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 by AUTOart

When I bought this long-awaited Diablo, I wasn't too pleased with it. The truth is, however, I think it looks sensational!

Look at those gas struts, they look so sturdy!

Ahh, that explains it...

Seems like only one of the doors is opened but, actually, both are: The one on the driver's side is just too lazy...

Unlike other times, this wasn't a case of the camera not doing the engine justice. What you see below is simply mediocre:

(not pictured, the ever helpful toothpick)

Interior, beautifully crafted? I wouldn't say that...

The carbon fiber trim is out of scale; the Lambo logo is only printed

Half-assed center console: look at those printed-on switches!!

I still don't get AUTOart's fascination with hard, toy-like plastic. And look at that carbon fiber peeling on the right side of the seat!

This Diablo does have its good points, however:

Wheels and brakes were never a problem for AA.

Unlike previous Diablos, the air intakes now feature perforated mesh.

The exhaust tips could have looked better if it hadn't been for the misaligned pipes!

In the end, you would say this model represents everything that's wrong with AUTOart today, but the sheer looks of it make you forget about all that... Perhaps that why they call it, Il Diablo.
